It tries too hard to be scary to a point it's almost laughable and the gimmicks get old. Things never really come together and the puzzles are sloppy and poorly constructed, leading to wandering and frustration which sucks the horror out of what could have been deeply unsettling. So yeah, it is scary if those things sound scary. We sent it to JustAdventure: I made it into Chapter two but massive frustration and nearly 9 hours of game play to get there have exhausted me. Even one of the earlier puzzles requires an obscure object to be applied to an emblem above a door before igniting it. Language Patch for "Anna" is now available for download!

Like I said, stronger minds than mine might prevail. I just got it, thanks, but it says I have to uninstall Anna In the second ending, the protagonist reminisces about Anna, realizes that he cannot live without her, and opens himself up to possession by her, joining the multitude of mannequins that are found throughout the house.

It's all too easy to ignore the positive response to such issues so here's an acknowledgement that Dreampainters, whose debut release is the horror adventure Anna, are listening to feedback. Anna, with its single location, reactive horror elements and folklore-based story, seemed like it could be the game to dreamppainters a lot of my itches. I'm only saying that for title fun.
Anna - Extended Edition has been given an overhaul based on the feedback of the thousands of players of the original Anna. Often the choral vocal track will simply cut out, leaving the player in the silent space of an abandoned lumber mill.
